What's Happening at Works on Canvas

CURRENT EXHIBIT               RED:  an art exhibit         Opening Reception Feb 5   6pm to 10 pm            continuing through Feb 27

Beginning February 5th and running through February 27th, Works on Canvas Studio & Gallery will be host to RED an art exhibit.  More than just a celebration of the color, this exhibit showcases the meaning and symbolism of red as explored and expressed in paintings and objects. Coinciding with National Wear Red Day to raise awareness of women and heart disease,  the public is invited to an opening reception on First Friday Artwalk on February 5th from 6pm to 10pm.  Wear red, drink some champagne and view some fabulous art by Bellingham artists inspired by red.  Works on Canvas is located in the Bay Street Village Building at 301 W Holly Street at the corner of Bay & Holly.  www.works-on-canvas.com or 739.2474 for more information.


Works on Canvas, Sharon Kingston's storefront studio and gallery, will be exhibiting works from Sharon's  Looking Inward Series, After the Age of Abundance Series and select still life work.  Visit during studio hours 11 am to 3 pm Tues - Sat  or phone 360.739.2474 for an appointment.

Upcoming EXHIBIT

March 2010:  Works on Canvas will be hosting the exhibit THIRD PERSON PLURAL.  Chris Shreve, Kay D. Little and Sharon Kingston  will be exhibiting their variations in abstract paintings with an opening reception March 5 from 6 pm to 10 pm.
