MIES VAN DER ROHE – BARCELONA OTTOMAN – REPRODUCTION
This is a brand new, showroom display model and reproduction of the popular Mies van der Rohe Pavilion Ottoman introduced and made famous during the 1929 International Exhibition in Barcelona, Spain. Known the world over as the Barcelona Ottoman, this Ottoman are exquisitely and meticulously manufactured with genuine top grain, 100% aniline dyed leather and the highest quality hand polished stainless steel frames.
The frame is constructed from premium grade solid bar stock stainless steel. Single piece construction ensures long term durability. All joints are fully welded, sealed, and seamless. The frame is hand-polished to a perfect mirror finish. The geometry of the frame is true to the Mies van der Rohe original Barcelona design. The cushion surface consists of individual 100% aniline dyed leather panels; each piece is cut and hand-sewn with attentive detail. Seat cushion is filled with high resilient - high density polyurethane foam. The cushion is supported by heavy saddle leather straps riveted to the frame and whose top edges match upholstery color.

SHARON KINGSTON - ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING - HERALDING A FATE
This painting was inspired by the associations we have with the color red, particularly a red sky. My work has always held a connection to Mark Rothko's color fields in that I strive to create a depth through the layering of transparent colors. A grounding element of horizon defines this as a landscape, but the amorphous rectangle of a sky brings the painting back into the realm of abstract. 36 x 36 inches square, this oil on canvas had painted edges. A black floater frame is offered for an additional $100.
